  • I understand my work responsibilities will include:
    • Preparing and participating in in-person and virtual Tech Ambassador events
    • Participating in new training, program brainstorming sessions, and relevant happenings including Tech Ambassador meetings
    • Assisting with promoting the Tech Ambassador program and events
    • Ongoing communication with individuals who reach out to me through email or social media for support, information, etc.
    • Training and assisting people to share their stories using technology
    • Consulting with individuals, families, or organizations, as approved by the WTT
    • Other duties as assigned
  • I will monitor my email account for communication regarding the program.
  • I will participate in Tech Ambassador events and meetings with my camera on when possible.
  • My rate of pay will be $21/hour.
  • I understand I may be required to travel for work. Mileage reimbursement applies only to pre-approved, work-related travel.
    • Reimbursement will be calculated using the standard mileage rate set by the IRS. The current rate is $0.70 per mile.
    • I will be paid 1/2 of my travel time, at $21/hour, only if my travel time exceeds 30 minutes in one direction.
    • To receive reimbursement, I must submit a mileage log with my timesheet including:
      • Date of travel
      • Starting point and destination
      • Purpose of travel
      • Total miles driven
      • Travel time
    • All travel must be approved in advance.
  • I will submit my timesheet every two weeks by the specified due date.
  • I understand that the Tech Ambassador position is a temporary short-term position, expected to last from 7/1/2025 to 6/30/2026.
  • I agree to conduct all Tech Ambassador activities with the highest possible ethical and moral standards, and to perform my duties in compliance with the laws of the State of Ohio and other rules set forth by WTT.
  • I hereby give WTT full permission to use, publish and copyright photographic prints, video, film, digital representations or other reproductions from all images made of me and/or my property in conjunction with the Tech Ambassador program, with or without using my name, and to make changes or alterations to them for publication or for any other reason.
